Now, we’ve brought those journeys home.
Joined by our daughter, Bailey—a sommelier stepping away from a career in law—we invite you to explore wines inspired by the routes we’ve flown and the regions we’ve loved.

Michael Surapine
Michael has spent nearly 29 years as a commercial airline pilot, flying across the country and around the world. His time in the air introduced him to diverse cultures and regions, sparking a deep appreciation for wine and the stories each bottle tells. In 2010, Michael began formally studying wine, turning a longtime passion into a deeper pursuit.
Married to co-founder Stacy, Michael is a proud father to two daughters, Bailey and Delaney, with Bailey also joining the family business as a co-founder. A sommelier with a passion for both wine and people, Michael is dedicated to sharing his expertise, welcoming guests, and making every visit memorable. He looks forward to serving the perfect pour and creating meaningful connections with everyone who walks through the door.

Stacy Surapine
Stacy has spent 36 years in the commercial airline industry as a flight attendant, flying almost exclusively on international routes. Her travels around the world fostered a deep appreciation for culture, connection, and exceptional wine, experiences that continue to inspire everything she does.
Married to co-founder Michael and loving mother to Bailey and Delaney, Stacy brings warmth, creativity, and a genuine love for people to The Wine Bar. With a thoughtful eye for detail and a passion for creating inviting spaces, she pours her heart and soul into making every guest feel welcome and turning The Wine Bar into a true home away from home.

Bailey grew up immersed in travel, culture, and great wine thanks to her parents’ careers in the airline industry. Spending ample time exploring new places sparked her love for the connections made around a great glass of wine. After stepping away from a career in law, she has taken a leap of faith into doing what she loves most, while bringing years of experience from the service industry with her.
With a bubbly personality and a natural ability to connect with people, Bailey thrives on creating memorable guest experiences and building real relationships with those who walk through the door. Her passion and fresh perspective were a driving force behind the idea to start The Wine Bar, and she loves helping guests feel comfortable, welcomed, and excited to discover new wines.
